Students, especially those who are interested in pursuing college and university studies in the fine arts, receive a thorough grounding in basic and advanced techniques. Areas covered incorporate the elements and principles of art and design. Students will work with acrylic, tempera and water color paints as well as charcoal, graphite and soft pastels. Drawing, painting, sculpting and designing are the activities that students engage in. Above all, students are motivated to be creative.
