In 2011, the Windsor School was re-accredited through May, 2018 by the Middle-States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. We have been accredited by Middle States since 1976.
The Windsor School is registered with the New York State Education Department. We are also accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, a nationally and internationally recognized organization (www.msa-cess.org).
Windsor is scheduled to undergo a Middle States Association re-accreditation in November or December 2017. An experienced team of examiners will spend three days with us evaluating the school using the twelve MSA Standards: Mission, Governance and Leadership, School Improvement Planning, Finances, Facilities, School Organization and Staff, Health and Safety, Educational Program, Assessment and Evidence of Student Learning, Student Services, Student Life and Activities and Information Services.
Stakeholders (students, parents, teachers and administrators) have already completed a Middle States Survey for each of the above standards. All surveys were done anonymously. We will use these honest responses to analyze our current programs so as to better serve our educational community in the future.
The Windsor School is a member of the following organizations:
- College Entrance Examination Board
- New York State Association of Independent School (NYSAIS)
